I wanted to highlight this laudable initiative carried out by volunteers who in recent days have painted the gate and the fence of our little cemetery.

These voluntary association 'Friends of Volunteers in Calolziocorte City Tourist' (ACT) was established on May 6, 2010 with the goal of protecting and improving the urban environment a vantaggio di tutta la comunità calolziese e del territorio.

Ho sentito telefonicamente il Segretario dell'associazione, Signor Figini Giuseppe, il quale mi ha raccontato brevemente le loro finalità.

Attivi su tutto il territorio, in gran parte pensionati, svolgono prevalentemente attività di pulizia delle aree verdi e piccole manutenzioni in genere; inoltre stanno realizzando concretamente una rete di osservatori per tenere monitorate le varie zone cittadine, ivi comprese le frazioni collinari, con lo scopo di segnalare i problemi, salvaguardando e valorizzando le strutture ed il verde pubblico.

Un occhio di riguardo anche per i deplorevoli comportamenti dei proprietari maleducati di cani, spingendosi sino all'eventuale segnalazione alla polizia locale.

Chi volesse collaborare a qualsiasi titolo con questa associazione, sia come osservatore che per prestare qualche ora del proprio tempo libero e' pregato di mettersi in contatto con il sottoscritto ( all'indirizzo mail qui indicato ); sarò ben lieto di fornire il numero telefonico.

Sopracornola e Rigolgrosso sono completamente immerse nei boschi della Valle San Martino, vorrei pertanto evidenziare i comunicati apparsi sui siti della Comunità Montana Lario Orientale Valle San Martino e della Protezione Civile della Regione Lombardia, dove si dichiara che a partire dal giorno 11 FEBBRAIO 2011 e sino a revoca è disposto lo stato di GRAVE PERICOLO PER GLI INCENDI FOREST, and shall apply the rules concerning the protection of forests from fire, referred to in Articles 4 and 7 of L.353/2000 and art.45 of c.4/61/9 L.31/2008.

Frana di Favirano: si intravede la luce in fondo al tunnel

After more than one hundred twenty days after the end of Via Favirano, and struggling to find useful information to share with you readers, I turned back directly to the Mayor of Torre de ' Busi, Lady Eleanor Ninkovic, who kindly showed me detailed the complex situation which I will summarize below.

- 11 February, the Conference was held at the Mountain Community Services of San Martino Valle which was attended by the mayors and representatives of Municipalities of Calow, Carenno, Monte Marenzo, Caprino Bergamasco, Erve, Torre de 'Busi, the Mountain Community of the Region of Lombardy and the geologist in charge. It' was presented the final draft of which was given a favorable opinion : required step when it comes to approving plans for action on roads and / or areas with environmental restrictions, forestry and so on.

- in the days following steps were taken to prepare the final design to be submitted to the Regional Contract Law 25 - Fund for the mountain that was due Friday, 25/02/2011 and signed a letter of intent between the mayors of Torre de 'Busi (leader), Carenno, Calow, Erve, Caprino Bergamasco, Monte Marenzo in support of the project. The mayors of the Tower, and Calow Carenno also introduced that would have contributed to the financing of the project for which support is requested with 70 000 € Total (Torre De 'Busi 40,000 + 20,000 + 10,000 Calolziocorte Carenno).

That letter was necessary to obtain significant scores for the ranking of the proposed project on the regional call for, and participation of all the municipalities has increased the chance of entering the regional ranking

- The City Torre de 'Busi has consegnato il progetto in data 23/02/2011 riassumente tutti  gli interventi territoriali da fare, suddivisi per ambiti/lotti: Lorentino-Favirano, Sogno e Valcava. Il progetto unico dovrebbe aumentare le chance di buona riuscita, in quanto Sogno e Valcava che sono al di sopra dei 600 mt (territori montani) danno più punti per la graduatoria

- la Regione Lombardia ha chiesto di inoltrare delle schede tecniche aggiuntive che il Comune di Torre dè Busi deve predisporre in questi giorni

- dovremmo attendere la fine di marzo o i primi giorni di aprile per conoscere l'esito e sapere se il progetto verrà finanziato, Comunità Montana e Regione cercheranno di effettuare l'istruttoria nel più breve tempo possibile

La Comunità Montana sosterrà il progetto, pare che inserirà come Ente una quota di cofinanziamento pari a 35mila euro, nella peggiore delle ipotesi, nel caso in cui non passasse la richiesta alla Regione, con questo contributo si arriverebbe a 105mila euro (sommandoli ai fondi messi a disposizione dai Comuni di Torre dè Busi, Calolziocorte e Carenno).

Speriamo quindi nell'esito dell'istruttoria della Regione, i lavori potranno essere affidati appena si avrà la comunicazione del finanziamento.

on this blog I have followed the events of the end of Via Favirano from the beginning, and I live every day as a user inconvenience. Therefore I update readers with news of these few days.

Il Comune di Torre dè Busi ha approvato i progetti per la sistemazione delle tre zone colpite da eventi franosi descritti nei post precedenti: la cifra complessiva ammonta a ben 337.400 euro!

Il geologo incaricato dal comune ha predisposto i progetti di sistemazione idrogeologica del territorio e l'amministrazione comunale ha potuto inoltrare domanda di contributi alla Regione Lombardia.

Son già trascorsi 80 giorni dalla chiusura della strada comunale Favirano-Lorentino

Yes, I'm already past 80 days.

the thorny matter I have spoken at length and several times in this blog, now seems appropriate to the situation that, in my view, non si risolverà di certo in tempi rapidi come si auspicava.

La strada e' stata chiusa con ordinanza sindacale urgente del Comune di Torre de' Busi il giorno 01 novembre 2010 alle ore 12:00, avendo riscontrato che in frazione Favirano, all'altezza del ponte del Brugaro, causa le forti precipitazioni era avvenuta una frana sottostante la strada comunale che porta alla frazione di Lorentino (Calolziocorte).

Ad inizio dicembre e' stata inoltrata all'attenzione al Comune di Torre dè Busi e al Prefetto di Lecco una lettera corredata da otto pagine di firme di cittadini residenti nelle zone interessate per richiedere il ripristino della normale viabilità in quanto la situazione crea una serie di disagi. E' visibile sulla home page del sito del Comune ( prot. 6904 ).

Sullo stesso sito e' consultabile la dettagliata risposta fornita dalla D.ssa Eleonora Ninkovic, inoltrata in copia anche al Prefetto di Lecco ed ai Sindaci dei Comuni di Calolziocorte, Carenno, Erve e alla Comunità Montana Lario Orientale Valle San Martino.

In estrema sintesi, l'Amministrazione Comunale di Torre dè Busi ha la volontà di sistemare la vicenda, ma l'intervento previsto come studio di fattibilità condiviso con lo STER della Regione Lombardia richiede circa 212 mila euro, somma che il Comune non ha nelle proprie disponibilità.

Inoltre nei territori di pertinenza del Comune di Torre dè Busi da Agosto 2010 in poi ci sono stati diversi dissesti idrogeologici (Valcava e Sogno) che comportano globalmente impegni di spesa per il ripristino pari a circa 450 mila euro  (rinvio per i dettagli alla risposta prot. 6904 ).

Purtroppo non avevo potuto partecipare, ma ho avuto l'onore di poter pubblicare su this site a presentation summarizing the topics covered by the work "Memoirs of Sopracornola land, people and devotion" published in 2004.

How Sopracornolese adoption, I found a monumental work in question very interesting and useful, and so I'm really happy to publish a summary accompanied by several images.

was held yesterday evening at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Sopracornola Christmas concert sponsored by the City of Calow.

The evening was the seventh of nine dates of the second edition of 'Follow the Star' .

Thirteen tracks (twelve plus one 'a' by popular demand) masterfully interpreted by Salvatore and Maria Stella De Gennaro Meller ( here I anticipated the flyer with program details).

The small but beautiful church with its wonderful Sopracornola crib, melodies and snow have made it very charming this evening.
